Defined by the teardrop-shaped pearls in the Medieval period, specifically byzantine empire, it aims to preserve Raw nature of materials. reflecting on the value of antique Pendants & Objects through historical artisan techniques she practiced, spending a childhood around grand bazaar.                                                                                                         

Naz Yilmaz is an istanbul born, new york based jewelry designer whose work is handmade by her, using local and ethnic materials like gemstones, pearls, pendants from various cultures. her background in art history and antique collecting & dealing, lead to merge sentimental values between different cultures by creating deep connection through local materials unique to each region. She values ethical production and conservation of historical heritage is equally crucial. Every piece is handmade with the intention of making each item as sustainable and comfortable to wear as possible.
